Common questions

FAQ

I paid for something and did not receive it

All purchases in our games are processed by Apple, so the transaction record sits with them. Email us with your game title and the approximate time of purchase and we will restore the entitlement on our side. If you would like a refund of the payment itself, that has to go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account you used originally, then open the game's settings and choose Restore Purchases. If nothing comes back, email us and we will look it up.

I lost my progress

If cloud save was enabled, reinstall the game and sign in with the same Apple Account — progress syncs automatically. If it was not enabled, progress lives only on the device it was made on. Contact us either way; we can often recover more than the app can.

How do I delete my account and my data?

Our games can be played without an account. If you created one, you can delete it from within the game under Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes the account and its associated data. You can also email Privacy@thinking.games from the address on the account and we will process the deletion. See the Privacy Policy for what is retained and for how long.

Do your games collect personal data?

We collect as little as we can. What we do collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in full in our Privacy Policy. Our free games carry ads, so some data goes to advertising partners — section 8 explains exactly what, and how to opt out. We never sell personal data for money.

Are your games suitable for children?

Our titles are rated for broad audiences. Ads shown to children are contextual only — we never serve behavioural advertising to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents and guardians can contact us at any time to request deletion of a child's data — see Children's privacy.

The game crashes or behaves oddly

First try restarting the device and updating to the latest version of the game and of iOS. If it persists, email us with your device model, iOS version, game version, and what you were doing when it happened. Screenshots or a screen recording help a great deal.

Can I report a security vulnerability?

Yes, and thank you. Email support@thinking.games with the subject "Security report". Please give us reasonable time to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly.

Still stuck?

Write to us directly

Include the game title and your device details and we will take it from there.
